🏳️🌈🚫 #AndrewNiklasCurtis è un regista di 27 anni, americano di #LosAngeles, vive a #NewYork. La scorsa estate ha lavorato a #Firenze per la produzione di un cortometraggio sulla bisessualità, insieme a un team di professionisti italiani e internazionali.
Terminata la lavorazione del suo corto, Andrew si è trattenuto nel capoluogo toscano per circa un mese, in un alloggio affittato dalle parti di Piazza Pietro Leopoldo. Negli ultimi anni l’artista si era recato frequentemente a Firenze.
Una sera di metà Settembre, Andrew è stato vittima di un’aggressione sessuale. L’assalitore ha dapprima tentato un approccio sessuale, al fine di ottenere denaro. Quando ha compreso che Andrew non aveva intenzione di accettare l’avance sessuale di natura commerciale, la proposta si è trasformato in una violenta aggressione e successiva rapina.
È lo stesso Andrew a raccontarlo a Gay.it. Attraverso la sua testimonianza, oltre alla violenza dell’episodio, registriamo il comportamento di alcuni – non tutti – membri delle forze dell’ordine intervenuti un’ora dopo l’accaduto. Poliziotti. Andrew ci racconta cos’è successo.

Raffaello Sanzio 1483-1520 is one of the most important painters of European art. Together with Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci he dominated the high renaissance. For centuries Raphael’s harmonious compositions, delicate coloring and idealized figures were taught at art academies as the highest standard in art. Every painter who had ambitions to become a history painter studied and copied his works. Besides his religious and classical subjects on canvas, he produced portraits, designed large tapestries and decorated walls with frescoes. He is perhaps most famous for his Madonnas which he painted throughout his career. These serene works feature the Virgin Mary lovingly holding or embracing her baby son Jesus. This work is one of the most famous and important portraits of the Renaissance. It depicts the influential writer, diplomat and humanist Baldassare Castiglione seated against a monochrome background. He is wearing a fur trimmed doublet and a turban headdress with beret. The outfit indicates the portrait was painted in the winter of 1514-15. Raphael and Castiglione were close friends and met at the ducal court in Urbino. Castiglione is famous for his book Il Cortegiano, translated as The Book of the Courtier, which he wrote between 1513 and 1518 and was published in 1528. The book describes how to behave at court and how to be an ideal courtier. Questions regarding etiquette, characteristics, appearance, rank, taste, morality, speech and demeanor are being addressed and give insight in court life during the Renaissance. The portrait and pose were admired and copied by many artists among them Titian, Rubens and Rembrandt.
